Dear Parents,

On Thursday we completed our pre-planning for our faculty and staff, and I wanted to take a moment to let you know how excited we are to welcome your family to a new school year. Our teachers and staff have spent the summer preparing classrooms, planning lessons, praying together, and making every effort to ensure that your student's experience will be both meaningful and memorable.

During our pre-planning week, Shadelle Haley has also been working with our student leaders, training them and preparing them for the important roles they will have in our school community this year. They will begin putting that training into practice immediately as they help lead our Orientation Day on Monday and our Get-Acquainted Social on Monday evening. They will also take leadership roles during our Outdoor Sabbath at the close of the first week. I am especially pleased to see our students learning that leadership is not merely a position, but an opportunity to serve others.

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday, August 9, for registration as we begin another year of learning, growth, and Christian fellowship. On Monday evening we will gather for our annual Get-Acquainted Social. This is always a special opportunity for students and staff to build relationships that strengthen our Heritage Academy community. On Friday evening we will conclude our first week with our Agape Supper, celebrating the Christian fellowship that is at the heart of our school. Outdoor Sabbath is a tradition that reminds us of God's presence in His creation and provides a beautiful setting for worship together.

Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of partnering with you in your child's education. We are committed to helping every student grow academically, spiritually, socially, and in Christian character. We believe God has wonderful things in store for this school year, and we are grateful to have your family as part of the Heritage Academy community.
