For vespers tonight we did Bible marking with new Bibles (with their names on it) and Bible markers. We used the Bible marking stickers from It Is Written! Everyone enjoyed learning a new way to study the Bible! We are so thankful for a generous donor who made this possible!

Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the International Supper - an annual fundraiser! It was wonderful to see everyone and to feel the love for Heritage Academy students and their hard work to make it a terrific night!

I am reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 24 about disasters at the end of the world, just before the second coming. He underscored His point with a parable about two groups of people, which He called sheep and goats. Both groups were surprised by the outcome of His story.
The group that He called sheep were actively caring for those who were suffering, and they were surprised by their eternal reward. I see so many people who are just like this every day. I'm thankful to be associated with these people.
I'm also thankful for those who give to support the relief they bring, and I'm thankful for those who hold such efforts up in prayer.

Saving residents thousands of dollars as they work hard to recover! This job would have cost the homeowner more than $20,000 if contracted by a professional, but was done very well by hardworking, dedicated Heritage Academy students and staff. With a little more work, this home is ready to be restored. And believe it or not, everyone bonds over their shared service for Jesus.

Heritage Academy disaster response training at Mt Pisgah Academy is cut short as the team heads back to TN just as the interstate becomes impassable.
After a few hours of planning, Heritage Academy returns to the Fletcher, NC area to help Fletcher Academy and the surrounding area begin to recover from this incredibly devastating storm. Please keep these precious families in your thoughts and prayers!!
